The facility’s main science portfolio includes novel techniques for enabling next- generation discovery-science accelerators, optical-bandwidth beam-cooling technologies, advanced particle-beam manipulation, quantum and photon science with individual electrons, and artificial intelligence for accelerator diagnostics and controls.
