IPAC'23 is an in-person event

We strongly believe that IPAC is an extraordinary opportunity for the entire community of accelerator experts allowing, in particular, the younger generation to meet the more experienced scientists and engineers, as well as industry to showcase their most recent achievements in technological tools for particle accelerators. This is fully achieved only through direct interpersonal relationships, which we shall try to foster as well as we can during and also alongside the scientific programme with several social opportunities.

Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, IPAC’23 is unable to accept any registrations from any organisations based in Russia or Belarus. This applies to both individual and exhibitor registration. Individuals may check if they are eligible for participation with IUPAP affiliation at https://iupap.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/use_iupap_affiliation_at_conferences.pdf

Please address any request for IUPAP affiliation to IPAC’23 Scientific Secretariat .

Organizers will not reserve your seat unless all items are properly flagged. 

If you are not sure yet about your attendance, take your time till April 27, 2023.
Reminders will be sent to registrants who have selected no social events.

(***) Exhibitor daily pass

Exhibitors daily pass (valid for one day from Monday 8 to Wednesday 11) can be purchased upon request by the exhibitors already registered.
One day or more can be purchased.

Each daily pass is 320 EUR.

It allows access to the scheduled scientific sessions, the Conference premises and coffee-breaks.

Social events are NOT inlcuded.

We kindly ask you to actively select the events your accompanying person is registering to.
Social events will be granted on a first-come-first-served basis.

Organizers will not reserve your seat unless all items are properly flagged. 

Once you have completed your registration process, you will receive a confirmation email from registration@ipac23.org summarizing all the items selected.
Should you not receive it, please check your spam box or contact the Registration Secretariat.

Your invoice will be available in your user area.
Invoices will be issued by the Organizing Secretariat once the payment is received

Refunds will be settled within 6 weeks after the end of the conference by credit card or bank transfer, depending on the original payment method.

Please note that THE OFFICE will never ask a third party to retrieve financial or credit card information from a registrant without prior direct personal-arrangement between a registrant and THE OFFICE staff member.

This is fully achieved only through direct interpersonal relationships, which we shall try to foster as well as we can during and also alongside the scientific programme with several social opportunities.

Only in case of truly unforeseen circumstances we shall consider broadcasting the event for limited remote participation.

Lunch boxes

Lunches are not included in the registration fee.

IPAC’23 has planned for you Lunch boxes to be purchased in advanced for the days of the conference, directly upon your registration.

These boxes can be purchased on the registration form till March 31, 2023.

Water Passes

Transportation in Venice, which is built on water, is different from most cities and very expensive.
Venice has no ground transportation, only waterbuses. Lido has ground transportation (buses, cars and bicycles), but the routes do not go beyond the limits of the island.

Participants and their companions can purchase the Event Pass at a discounted rate upon their registration procedures, which can be used on the days of IPAC’23.

The Event Pass can be used on any public transportation belonging to ACTV and within Venice, namely:

ACTV waterbuses in

  • Venice,
  • Lido
  • main islands

ACTV buses on main land in Mestre, Marghera and tram.

not included: all transport lines from /to Venice Marco Polo airport (lines 16, 19, 21, Casinò lines and Alilaguna)

These passes will be available on the registration form till March 27, 2023. Further instructions on their activation will be sent via email later on.

Water passes activation instructions were sent on Saturday 29 April 2023.
