IPAC’23 / PARTICLE ACCELERATOR PROJECTS AND UPGRADES 47 Project Region America Project Location TBD Project Type New Project Project Description C3 is a proposed 250/550 GeV center of mass linear collider (https://arxiv.org/abs/2110.15800 ). It is based on a distributed coupling accelerator concept for normal conducting accelerator technology. The accelerator operates at ~80K with the structures immersed in liquid nitrogen. We are presently pursuing a demonstration program to produce and test the first cryomodules for the main linac (https://arxiv.org/ abs/2203.09076).
